| The French Republican Guard wind Orchestra has been invited to give a gala concert at the 20th World Music Competition in Kerkrade. |
| The WMC Kerkrade is recognised worldwide as the largest international festival for wind instruments. Over a period of 25 days, the festival welcomes more than 250 orchestras and ensembles participating in competitions, representing more than 20,000 musicians from around 35 countries on all continents. |
